Happy 2008 from Naples, FL.
We finished out 2007 and rang in 2008 by completing the next stage in our year-long moving process. On Dec. 30th, we departed from Merritt Island where we had lived for the previous 10 days in order to celebrate Christmas and partake in a little wedding action with Steve & Laura (Good Times). We made a pit stop in Port Orange to say "goodbye" to everyone from Church of the Highlands (not fun - we're going to miss everyone terribly) and clean up the townhouse for our new renter (Yep - we got a renter! Praise God!).
Then we hit the road. Four and half hours down and across the state of Florida with a Trailblazer bursting at the seams. We made it uneventfully and discovered hidden treasures (actually junk that the owner left in the condo) as we began to unpack and settle in. 2007 ended rather uneventfully as we were just thankful to have a day to ourselves with nothing on the schedule except some r&r to get ready for the new year.
2008 began in typical Frahm fashion - with a bike riding adventure. We took our first venture out on the Naples roads and got caught in a rain storm on the 2nd half of the ride. Surprisingly enough, I managed not to wipe out on my bike in the rain (I know that's what you all were expecting to hear), but I did manage to wipe out walking across the parking lot back to the car. I now look like a three year old who has skinned up knees because her feet can't quite keep up with her body yet. Leave it to me.....
Well the new journey officially begins tomorrow morning at 6am with a run from Dr. Greg's house before we hit the office and find out what the next four months have in store for us. We'll keep you posted as I'm sure we'll have to stories to share from this one....
May 2008 be healthy and prosperous for everyone. Love & Blessings,

"See, aren't you glad you have that Trailblazer now? You never could have moved without it."
