Graduation

Three and a half years + one hour = Dr. Matt Frahm.

Yep, the three and a half years of studying, interning, and testing is over. After all that, there was a one hour ceremony and "all of a sudden" my husband is called a Doctor. Crazy.

Graduation was an incredibly enjoyable, stressful, bittersweet....let's just say emotional weekend. It was surreal to believe that was the culmination of the past several years of highs, lows, frustrations, experiences, etc. It was enjoyable to be able to celebrate with family and friends, and it was bittersweet to say "bye" to Port Orange and the life we've lived there.

There was also a little secret that made the weekend more fun. Matt was valedictorian of his graduating class and there were only a handful of us that knew until the graduation ceremony. Yes, my husband is a smarty-pants and everyone has enjoyed teasing him about it thus far (I do feel truly sorry for our future kids).

So, just like that, one major leg of our journey has come to an end - we're at a rest stop I like to say - and the next one will begin shortly. Very shortly in fact. We have a few days to enjoy the holidays and then we move to South Florida to begin our internship in Naples on Jan. 1.

Thanks for all of your love, support, encouragement, and everything else on this leg of the journey. We couldn't have done it without you.
